Barbecued on the lawn of the church and watched fire works from there. It was so nice not having to fight crowds. We are finally getting to know allot of people here. Which makes things so much better! We are loving Farmington more and more each day! It's so nice to be close to family where the kiddo's can play with each other and we are loving the laid back environment.

Dylan went on the "Trek" this summer. For those of you who don't know what the Trek is. It is a way to follow the experiences of the early Saints and connect with our spiritual heritage. On the Trek they try to reenact a small part of the journey the pioneers went through to establish the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Salt Lake Valley. This experience we so good for him. When we picked him up he was covered in black dirt which made his teeth looked so white. After our hello's and good bye's we loaded in the car and I asked him how his trip was. He said "It was awesome!!" then he proceeded to tell us how much he loved us as he began to cry. He changed up on that mountain. He had changed for the better! It was one of those mother moments for me that I will never forget!! I realized that my baby had gotten "it". It meaning knowing the gospel was true, knowing how important family was. It meaning realizing how much our ancestors went through to restore the gospel and how to love and except everyone for who they are. What a good feeling to know that my baby understood.

Yes... It's is official!! Dylan is a driver!! I didn't think he would live to even take the test but I was wrong!! lol Next time you see him you will have to ask him about the "old lady" he back into in the Wal-Mart parking lot. Good Times, Good Times!!!

No really... he has been staying so busy!! He had like a million baseball games this year and his wonderful mother didn't even take one picture of him. (nice huh) He is thriving here in Farmington. He has made so many friends and been staying busy. He LOVES the scouting program and has done so many fun things this summer! He also just got his Hunters Safety and is planning a BIG hunt real soon.

You have to love Jake!! So full of life and now a member of the National Junior Honor Society!!

Jake's buddy Jacob came to see us for a week this summer. They hadn't seen each other in a year and it was like they never missed a beat!!

Mr. Brody had a great time playing baseball this year!! His coach is a friend of mine from high school! Crazy huh! Anyway they don't have pitching machines in Farmington. Apparently they are to high class for that, lol So.... Bro Bro learned how to pitch! It turned out good. He ended up getting a award for "BEST PITCHER"! BUT....In the beginning it was AWFUL!! I would get stressed out every time they put him on the mound. He looked like Herman Monster up on the mound!! One time the ball would be a strike, then it would be a ball over the umpires head, and then he would peg the batter!! SO STRESSFUL!!!!!

The very best thing about baseball besides NO DIRT DEVILS was the fields had playground equipment for Kenzie to play on. Which made the games very pleasant!

Miss Kenzie has been very busy making new friend and enjoying life! The cute little girl in this picture with her is her BFF Holly Wood! They just love each other! Holly's mom and I have really enjoyed watching and listening to the girls play! They say the funniest things!!

The Lou Who Family

Yes... We were the "Who" family for Halloween this year!! Me as Betty Lou Who, Oscar as Lou Who, Kenzie as Cindy Lou Who, Dylan as Stu Lou Who, Jake as Dru Lou Who and Brody as The The The GRINCH!!!!!

We loved doing this!! People were taking pictures of us every where we went!! Kenzie took 1st place in two costume contest. The 1st one was at Brody's school. The second one was at the trunk r treat. The event had 3 wards all together. We hardly knew anyone....But we made the best of it and everyone was very nice!! Plus the kids got allot of candy!!!!

Pumkin Patch

We all enjoyed ourselves at the pumpkin patch this year. The big boys loved shooting squash at a target,(such a boy thing) Kenzie enjoyed the barrel train ride and Brody loved the bucking cow ride!!! The 2 younger kids had their face painted. Kenzie's turned out cute but Brody's..... not so cute. The lady was supposed to make him look like a scarecrow. He looked more like a puppy. Not so cool to a 7yr old!!

We are all getting settled in our new home. The kids are all adjusting to school nicely. I truly am amazed at how many friends they have made and how well they are all doing. Dylan brought home a 4.1 gpa, Jake a 4.0 and Brody all S's. Hope it lasts!!! We have been running like crazy with football season in full swing! There was a few weeks Dylan had 3 games. He was not only playing c-team & JV they also brought 3 freshman up to suit out for Varsity and he was one of them. I just found out he will letter as a Freshman!! Pretty sweet! Jake is playing basketball this year. So tonight we will be going straight from a football game to a basketball game. Fun Times!! Brody has been dieing to join the P.V. wrestling team. I think he will be sad when he finds out titty twisting is not a real wrestling move.(he's watched Nacho Libre a few to many times!!) Kenzie has been enjoying Kinder music once a week and is fixing to start dance. Me? I have been busy chasing kiddo's, sewing Halloween costumes, doing crafts in Brody's class every other Friday, Cleaning :( you know all the crazy stuff mom's do. I did get a new calling this week so I am really excited about that. Oscie has enjoyed his new job. It is such a better environment for him. He has also been building a huge shed. Crazy guy.

Anyway all is well with the Terry's here in Farm town.. and I am going to try and post to my blog at least once a month. But please don't hold your breath!! lol Love you all!!!!

From the very moment I laid eyes on Kenzie I knew she was going to be the light of my life. I have enjoyed every moment with her.

The 1st time she looked at me.

I really can't believe time has gone by so fast. It just seems like yesterday when we met for the first time. The 1st time she looked at me she melted my heart. Sometimes I wish she would just stop growing and stay little forever.

Birthday Girl!!

Kenzie turned 3yrs May 17th. So while the two of us were in Farmington we decided to have a small little pool party with her cousins. Grandma Clugston bought her the cute blow-up pool and a swimming suit for her Birthday present. All I had to buy was a cake and we were set. I think it was the cheapest and easiest party I've have ever had.

The kids really had allot of fun playing in the water and just being together. Jordan is such a fun girl! Always ready to have a good time! Taylor was cracking me up! She was so cold she was shaking and turning blue, but was determined to have fun and just kept playing. My sweet little Kenzie was just happy putting her feet in the water. I call that smart. The water was really cold. I don't think she even got her hair wet. The kids played for almost 1 hr. before the adults got involved. Quite frankly I'm surprised it took that long. My favorite was the bottle of water to my face from my brother. Gotta love that! Anyways, I wish I lived closer to all of them so we could make memories like this all the time!

This picture is of Dylan warming up for his last middle school performance. He sure has come a long way in 3yrs. When he first started to play...Oh my goodness!! Those off notes made me cringe. I would just smile and say very good Dylan. Now when I say very good. I really mean it.
I wish he was going to take Orchastra next year but as Freshman they only get 1 elective. He's decided to take small engine mechanics instead. Can't blame him. With his hard schedule he is going t0 need something fun to get him through the day.

It's so exciting to close a chapter in your child's life, but sad at the same time. Jake is officially a middle schooler now and I am so glad I had the opportunity to go on his last bowling field trip with him. We had such a great time. It's also fun for me to see him interact with his classmates. You can see that everyone really likes Jake and enjoys his friendship. As a mom that makes me feel so happy.

Can you see how proud Miss Kenzie is of herself?

I was getting ready to paint my toe nails when I remembered I had forgotten to send an email out. Since Kenzie was happy playing in the tub I decided I better send it real quick and left the bathroom. Yes. The nail polish and my daughter were left alone in the bathroom. I thought it would be okay. Kenzie was "IN" the tub.
Three minutes after I left the room I looked up from my computer only to find. A very proud 2 almost 3 year old little girl standing next to me. She was so excited to show me what she had done. I was shocked. She said "Look mommy"! I replied "wow, honey"...."good job". Then she said "why did you make that face"? I told her "it's just because you surprised me". But really it was a.... Oh my freaking goodness is it in the carpet face!!!!!!! I took off straight to the bathroom to see the damage. I was so relieved to see there was only a few drops on the carpet. I was picturing a murder seen!! Seriously Bright Red Nail Polish!!!

Look what a great job she did!!!!!! Despite a little on the carpet, her chin, forearm & a drop on the back of her leg. She did a pretty darn good job! Gotta love my Girly Girl!!

We are the proud parents of a OUT of the park Grand Slam Hitter!!! Jake has been on the edge of hitting it out for a little while now. It just so happens that the bases were loaded when it went over the fist time!!! It was so fun to watch all his team run out to greet him at home plate!! They were jumping all over him and the crowd was going wild!!! I think it's every little boys dream to hit a Grand Slam. Not to mention every dad's dream to see their son hit one. Oscar had a smile on his face for 3 days!!!

Jake we are all so proud of you!!!

To celebrate such a awesome event Jake got to pick a restaurant of his choice for dinner. He chose Rudy's. We enjoyed celebrating his success with him. Well most of us did. Kenzie slept all through dinner.

When I cam home the other night Dylan's car had been vandalized. He was upstairs sleeping like a baby. I called him on his cell phone and woke him up. I told him to hurry downstairs someone has vandalized your car. You should have seen him! He came running down and was outside in like 5 seconds flat!! The confused look on his face was worth a million bucks!! Some girl friends of his had a little fun with him. They wrapped his car in saran wrap and stuck cookies all over his car windows. They also left little notes all over. Dylan just kept saying What? ....What? I don't know if the notes just confused him or if he was just still half asleep!!

I asked him the next day "who do you think did this". He replied "It was girls for sure". I asked him "why"? His reply was "boys would have eaten the cookies". He also found a long hair stuck to the sticky note. He needs to become a detective. What do you think?

P.S. We found out later what the trail of penny's were for. It was so he could get a car wash. At least they were thoughtful vandals! lol!

Oh My Goodness!!! I have never laughed so hard in my life!!! It all started with an "idea". I thought to myself "Why don't I put pink sponge curlers in Kenzie's hair. I bet she would look so cute with some pretty curls". So.... I went down to Target spent $10 on a bag of curlers. I was so excited!! When I got home I sat Kenzie's little booty in front of the TV and began to work my magic. The poor thing was so good. She was a little fussy about sleeping in the curlers, but I told her that her hair was going to look beautiful in the morning. That seemed to please her.

The next morning I woke up early. I couldn't wait to see what her hair looked like. I crept into her room and woke my little sunshine up. Then I took her into my room and told her we were going to see her beautiful hair. As I started to take the curlers out, it became evident that her hair wasn't turning out like I thought. As a matter of fact it was crazy!! She had a Afro!!!! She looked so different. It was unbelievable!! Once I started laughing I couldn't stop!! At first she thought I was laughing because she was cute. After looking at herself she realized I was laughing because she looked ridiculous. She was so upset with me that she ran to her room slammed the door and berried her head into her pillow. It was a weird moment for me. I know it's not nice to laugh at anyone especially my sweet daughter! I just couldn't stop. I think partly because I really had no idea those little curlers could do that! Poor Kenzie!!!!

It didn't take long after I got my laughter under control to kiss & make up with my sweet girl. Then we tried to make the best of the really tight curls. As you can see she still looked ridiculous. But she thought she was cuter than ever and that's all that matters.

Easter Morning....What did the Easter Bunny Bring?

The Easter Bunny was really nice to the kids this year. Our littke Miss Kenzie's basket had the my little pony she was wanting in it. Bro Bro's had his bakugans he couldn't wait to get. Seriously look at that face! He was so excited!!

Jake's had some sweet shades, and Dylan made out with some Benjamen's.

I love Easter morning. The excitement the laughter and the joy in my kid eyes. Every year not only does the Easter Bunny fill the kids baskets with fun stuff. He also sprinkles the entire house with fun filled plastic eggs. The hope is not to find the most eggs. But to find the eggs with the money. This year Jake had the most eggs but....he only had eleven bones. Even Kenzie ended up with more money than him. He moped around for about a hour. You would have thought he found nothing but boiled eggs.

We had a wonderful Valentines Holiday!

It all started Wednesday with the cute little Valentines we made for Jake and Brody's classmates. I got the idea from my crafty sister-in-law Amanda! We stapled 2 Twizzlers to a 3x3 piece of printed valentine paper, folded in 1/2. Then we wrote "WE"RE TWO OF A KIND" on them and put stickers all over. They turned out really cute. The best part is the boys and I really had fun making them together!

Later that night I had to help Brody make his Valentine Mail BOX! That wasn't as fun!! Brody wanted me to make him a robot mail box like a boy in his class. Whatever.. copy a boy in his class. I think NOT! I spent a few minutes on google. Nothing! So... we decided to make a CAR mail box out of the Twizzler tub. I spent a couple hours on that baby! I put K-NEX wheels on it so it would really roll. Then we hot glued a power ranger on it. My favorite touch was the wire antenna with the heart on the top of it. I have to say it turned out pretty awesome!

Thursday morning rolled around and on the way to school I had to make a quick stop at Walgreen's so Pickle could pick up his Valentines Present for his chic. I can't believe this is actually happening to ME! I'm not my baby's sweetie anymore! I've been replaced. When I picked him up from school I asked him "did you at least get some good kisses"? He replied with a smile "Maybe"! Hello..... YUCK!!!

On Thursday I also decided to make Kenzie a Valentine's outfit and hair bows. I went to Hancock Fabric and Hobby Lobby.(my favorite places) It took me about a hour! Doesn't she look so cute!!

Guess What?!?! I had to go by ANOTHER Valentines present for Jake's sweetie. The 1st thing he picked out was the Biggest bear they had at Target! I hated to bust his bubble, but... a $20 bear for his chic. NO WAY!!! We settled on the $10 one and a bouquet of rose suckers. When I picked him up. I asked him "did you at least get so sweet kisses"? He replied "MOM!! I'm 10!!!" That made my day!

Friday the kids and I blew up Balloons for Oscie! This is when I took these pictures. Dylan is such a trooper posing for me! I did spare him the embarrassment of not posting the one's with him kissing me on the cheek:)

We delivered Oscie his balloons and a Giant Cookie to his work! It was fun for the kids to surprise there daddy!!

My hubby let me sleep in for Valentine's Day, while he went into the cold for baseball tryouts!! Yea!! I woke up to roses and a sweet card! It's so nice to know your loved! Later we all went to the movie and just enjoyed each other! Valentine's night I gave all my kids a small gift to keep them entertained :) while me and Oscie went on a date. He talked me into an adventurous way of choosing a restaurant. The game goes like this.......You drive around and count restaurants. You keep counting until you hit 50 and that is where you stop and eat. Regardless of where it is. Fast food included! This was a little risky on Valentine's night. But it worked out to be Red Lobster. Oscar and I were sweating it for a little bit!!!!!

The evening ended like this......Nice romantic dinner, kids asleep, no distractions or parental duties, and YADDA, YADDA, YADDA. ;o).

It's a hat. It's a swing. No! It's a jock strap.

This was so cute, I just had to share. Let's just say our little Kenzie has quite an imagination on her. The other day she made a Giant potato into a baby. She cuddled and loved on it all evening. I few days later I found the potato tucked in her baby cradle nicely. Pillow and all. Good thing I found it though can you imagine the "Stink" that could have caused. I am amazed at the diffrence between boys and girls. Boy's turn everything into a gun or wepon. Girls make everything into a baby. I adore my boys but I am truly thankful I got the chance to raise a girl too. I love my kids!!

Silpada SOAR Trip to the Bahamas!!

We just got back from the Bahamas. Mendie won this trip with Silpada ( all expenses paid! ). Silpada is the company that she sells jewelry for. SOAR stands for Sisters On A Ride. We stayed at the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island. Let's just say that the island is appropriately named. The resort was absolutely beautiful. The architectural detail was amazing. Every detail was thought through. You could get lost admiring the architecture of the resort itself. They had so much to do and it was all free with the Hotel. They had some really cool aquariums! They were everywhere! They have the best water park. the "lazy river" is the coolest I have been on. It had calm water, rapids, waves, and elevators for the slides. We just sat there and enjoyed the ride. This was our favorite part of the water park. It was very relaxing to just sit and float. Way cool! They also have some some "serious" slides for the adventurous at heart. They where in the Mayan Pyramid. The Leap of Faith is the slide that goes straight down, and I mean straight down. You actually leave the slide for a minute. This goes so fast, that the shark tank that you go through is just a blur. Pretty exhilarating and not for the faint at heart. I was proud of Mendie for going through with it. You go girl!

The water at the beach was as clear as bottled water. Standing in the surf, chest deep, we could see our feet. Absolutely amazing. The temp was like bathwater. At a sunrise walk one morning, we ended up in the water at 7 am. The girls had a chance to hit the famous Straw Market. Not sure why they call it that, because the didn't sell straw and the building was not made of straw. Who knows? It was sorta stinky, culturally educating, and had some great deals.

The end of the trip was capped off by a huge party. They had some native "Junkaroo" performers. Junkanoo is local celebration of the liberation of the slaves. Google it! Pretty interesting story! Silpada definitely holds nothing back when throwing a party.

I cannot believe that we were able to go on this trip through the hard work of my wonderful wife and the gracious incentives from Silpada. I am so proud of my wife and her business. This trip makes it way easier to be supportive of her business. I can now proudly call her my sugar mama! Silpada is awesome! I am already looking forward to the Mayan Riviera next year.

Polar Express

We had so much fun riding the Polar Express this year! The train we road was the Durango Silverton Train. My Sister in law Amanda paid for an entire cart. We filled it with family and loved ones. It was so fun watching all the kids faces as we pulled into the North Pole! My daughter kept saying "Santa's Elves, Santa's Elves"!! So cute! All the kids were so excited about their bells from Santa. My niece Taylor said "you just got to BELIEVE aunt Mendie"! Kids say the funniest things! The Christmas caroling on the way back from the North Pole and just being around the Family sure helped get us all in the Christmas Spirit!

We were up late tonight and Kenzie was off doing her own thing. Playing with her dolls, last time we checked. Well I guess she figured it was bedtime and made herself and her dolls a bed on the floor and crashed out. It is adorable how each doll had a pillow and was covered with a blanket. It is amazing to see the maternal instincts even though she is only 2. How sweet! We are happy to report that both Kenzie and her dolls are tucked snugly in her bed for the night!

There is nothing like a sweet little girl! I have so much fun dressing her up, playing with her, singing with her and the list goes on and on! I can't help feeling sad about how fast she's growing up! I wish she could stay little forever!

The new thing she started saying to me is "You're my best friend". Hearing that from such a sweet little voice definitely melts my heart!

Thanksgiving in Arizona!

For the last 9 years, we have gone to Farmington for Thanksgiving to visit Mendie's family. This year my family invited us down to their homes in Phoenix. The Best part about having Thanksgiving in Phoenix besides Family ( look at that crazy bunch ) is the weather!!! The worst part of it is that we dearly missed Mendie's family this year. We love them very much and enjoy every moment we are with them.

Twins? No. but close enough to surprise you. This is my brother Steven. Got to love those dominant male Terry genes! He calls me the "Brother from the other mother!"

This is Gary, a very fabulous cook. He cooked up all the grub for the Thanksgiving dinner. We left with 2 of his recipes ( corn casserole and mac and cheese ). They are so delicious. He also is a very gracious host and we appreciate the hospitality he extended us. And the boys certainly enjoyed the hot cocoa from the cappuccino machine. Thanks again!

I want to thank my brother Steven and my sister Marla for inviting and hosting us at their homes this year. We all had a very good time and caught up for lost time. Dylan and a few kids in his 8th grade Science Class are getting all kinds of attention! They are participating in a study of the Sun's Shadows. For several months he has been dragging out his meter stick and his funny little contraption that he made. He goes out to measure shadow's at Solar Noon every weekend. I didn't think it was a big deal at first. I'm starting to understand what a honor it is and what a big deal it is to be a part of this. The 4 kids that are participating in the study went to a elementary school to do an Assembly about it. The project was accepted to a science convention in San Fransisco called AGU. The project is the first middle school project to be accepted to this huge conference. It also made it into the Albuquerque Journal. There is 3 pictures of Dylan and a huge article. Students Gather Sun Data Around World

The four James Monroe Middle School students call themselves “Kage-Gumi” — “Shadow Friends” in Japanese — and their school science project is a testimony to how one small effort can grow into a world-wide event.It's also a testimony to the zest for teaching of their science teacher, Turtle Haste, and to her ability to nourish the curiosity and enterprise of her students.
The four students are eighth-graders Shannon Hamilton, Andy Olander, Meagan Richards and Dylan Terry. In doing their project, which they call “In the Shadows of Ice and Sand,” the four have gathered data from observers as far away as Antarctica.
On Dec. 17, Haste and Olander will make a poster presentation about “Shadows,” at a meeting of the American Geophysical Union in San Francisco. It will be the first presentation from a middle school group ever entertained by the AGU. “In the Shadows of Ice and Sand” involves showing how seasons are a function of the angle of the Earth to the sun, the students said Monday.
Each week between Sept. 20 and March 22, they measure the length of a shadow cast by a one-meter stick. Next, with an astrolabe they have made from a straw, a geometry-class protractor, a piece of string and a weight, they measure the angle at which the sun rays hit the ground.
What they predict is that, through the winter, the stick's shadow will grow longer, as our spot on the globe moves away from the sun as the Earth turns on its axis. On the other hand, the angle measured by their homemade astrolabe will get smaller and smaller, because it measures one angle of a triangle two sides of which are getting longer and longer.
After Dec. 21, the winter solstice, they predict that the measurements will reverse as our spot on the globe begins to face more directly into the sun, they said.
But, their data doesn't stop with their own measurements. With Haste's aid, they have collected the same measurements from observers in Canada, China, Egypt, Greenland, Italy, Norway, Russia and Samoa.
Their most frequent correspondents are Al Baker and Phil Spindler, science support coordinators for Raytheon Co. working at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station and Palmer Station in Antarctica. Haste found Baker and Spindler through the Antarctic Sun newspaper and a Web site produced by the U.S. Antarctic Program.
The two men agreed to take sun angle measurements in Antarctica and e-mail them to New Mexico, but their relationship with the students grew much more informal. Eventually, Haste's students wound up sending Baker and Spindler boxes filled with candy and fliers showing what they learned in science class, and peppering them with questions about life on the icy continent by e-mail and in two long-distance phone conversations.
“I've learned that people who go to Antarctica give up a lot in their daily life,” Hamilton said ruefully. “On the plus side, what they do sounds fun and Antarctica is beautiful. On the minus side, they only get to take two, two-minute showers a week.”
Louise Huffman, education outreach coordinator for the Antarctic Geological Drilling project, which takes core samples from the Antarctic seabed to study climate change, said from her office in Lincoln, Neb., that she met Haste at a meeting of the American Geophysical Union in 2007.
Haste's enthusiasm and her range of questions about the drilling project made her stand out from many of the teachers she encounters in her job, she said. “I try to connect teachers with our project in Antarctica, but she has all these great ideas and I just try to help in any way I can,” Huffman said. “Turtle gets her students excited and encourages them to go out and find answers.”
All of the four “Shadow Friends” may not grow up to be scientists, but their experience with the project has given them practice in asking the kinds of questions on which science, and good reasoning, are based, Haste said. “I hope they all grow up to be smart consumers and wise decision-makers,” she said.
The four students will visit Whittier Elementary School this morning in connection with International Pole to Pole Day, which is Thursday. “They're going to share what they've learned from their project, and what they've learned about Antarctica from Al and Phil,” Haste said.

My brother Matt and his family came into town a few weeks ago and took some cute pictures of the kids! I would have to say the highlights of the Zoo trip would have to be the slide! The kids had so much fun sliding and getting their picture taken!! They are all such posers! The other highlight was the elephant pooping and peeing in his own watering whole! Yuck!!

All of us look forward to dressing up for Halloween every year!! As you can see were were all Vampires!! This is the 1st year we all didn't go Trick R Treating together! Jake went to his buddies house. Dylan did have some friends over though. As grandma passed out candy all of us hit the streets to do a little Trick R treating!! After about 30 minutes into the Trick R Treating Brody busted out with "Lets go home" I asked him why. His response was "I have enough candy. My bag is to heavy!!" I couldn't help laughing!! When I was a kid we would Trick R Treat until all the Porch lights were out. Either that or until we were completely FROZEN!!! What has this world come to? To much candy!!!! Turns out Brody was RIGHT!!! I think we still have 50lbs of candy left!!!!! YUCK!!!

We had so much fun spending the afternoon at the Pumpkin Patch in Moriarty! It only took about a hour to get there and for the money it was much better than the State Fair!! We went on a hay ride to hunt for pumpkins, walked through a Giant corn maze, shot corn from a huge gun!(I just about jumped out of my skin the fist time it went off!) They had a sandbox full of corn for the kids to play in, Peddle cars for both the big and small. The list goes on, and on!! If you haven't done this. YOU SHOULD!!

We all Love Balloon Fiesta! The boys love it even more because we let them ditch school to go! The highlight of the morning for Brody was the Storm Troopers! Dylan on the other hand thought he was to cool to get his picture taken with them. I had to beg him.

I would have to say this was the best perk of living in Albuquerque! Waking up to the sound of a balloon fling over your house and just being able to see them all the time!

For the 1st time I have decided NOT to buy school pictures. I feel like a horrible mom, but I can't justify paying all that money for pictures! (they hardly ever turn out cute anyway!) I always buy the packet that has at least 1 8x10. Guess how much!!!! $58.00 I couldn't believe it! I started to buy them and THEN I just freaked out! I felt like I was having a outer body experience! I was watching my consonance fight with itself! These were my thoughts!

*4 kids $58.00 each. Oh my goodness!!! That's $232.00!
* What about those poor kids!
* My kids the poor kid.
* No hes not.
* That is a RIP off!!
* but everyone else buys them.
* Who cares about everyone else.
* I have to buy them.
* no you don't!
* I will just take pictures myself. I have a nice camera.
* You won't do it and then... Your kid won't have any pictures!
* 1,625 students at Dylan's middle school. If only 1/2 buy the $58.00 package. That's $47,129. DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!

Captin Brody's Pirate Birthday Party!

Pirate Captin Brody turned SIX!!! All his Pirate friends came dresses there best and joined him for a swashbuckling good time! They were served a sailors dinner and a Pirates cake. They also went on a hunt for long lost treasure.The sword fight was fun and they brought down Captin Terry. It was a battle to the death. The highlight of the evening was the rum belching contest and the Battle at sea! We also had a cannon popping good time watching the little pirates try and pop baloons by bouncing on them with their bums!

Brody was so suprised about his new dirt bike!He just looked at it in Shock!! Later that night he said."I can't believe you really bought me a dirt bike!" SO CUTE!!

Dispite the rootbeer on the ceiling and the huge mess.... The Party was a Over All HUG Success! I love party planning and I love seeing kids have a good time! It was a great time and I want to thank my mom for all her help!! I couldn't of pulled it all together without her!

1st Days of School

Dylan started 8th grade this year! I can't believe it!! He is like 5'11" and not a baby anymore!! Next year he will be in High School!! Boy am I getting old!

Jake just started 5th grade! He is the BIG MAN on campus!! I was happy to see his teacher was Mrs. Greaser. Dylan had her and I thought she was great! She is the one who got Dylan into reading! I think she is already getting Jake to open up a book! Next year Jake will go to Middle School. Guess what that means for ME???? 4 Kids and 4 Different schools to drop them off at!! Gee.. I can't wait!

Brody started Kindergarten :( It is all day!! I hate it! I miss him so much! The other night I had a Silpada Party. I only saw him for a minute after school because of my show. Then I didn't get home until after he had already went to bed. The next morning when he woke up he hugged me real tight and began to cry. He said "I miss you"! My heart just melted! Nothing is worse than a sad little boy! On a lighter note his teachers name is Mrs. Nelson! This is a picture of her! One look at her and I knew I was going to be OKAY!! She seems really sweet! Thank Goodness!!!!

Well last but not least Miss Kenzie! She didn't start school but.. she had to have all the school supplies! Just like the boys!!! Pencils, a princess notebook, stickers and as you can see the princess lunch box!!(note to self "GO SHOPPING WITHOUT HER NEXT TIME")
And so that sums up the beginning of the 2008-2009 school year! 4 Happy kids, 1 sad mommy and a million dollars in school supplies later School has began!!

Life has been so CRAZY!! We really have had Lot's of Fun though! All the boys played baseball this year! Brody was so fun to watch!! He did so good!! Kenzie was such a trooper! She was hauled all over Albuquerque! I have never seen her so dirty! That red dirt gets everywhere!! She did always have a cute hair bow on or something to distract every ones eyes from her dirty face to her cute hair!

Jake was our Big Hitter!! The crowd would go wild every time he got up to bat! They all called him Big Jake!!

Dylan did great of course!! He was always a sure base hit!
Both the big boy's made the ALL STAR team. Brody would have but they don't have a All Star T-Ball team!
Uncle Kevy and Aunt Janettie were nice enough to come watch one of the boys all star games!

Dylan is so cute!! Every year he makes some crazy fishing pole out of trash and what not. And every year he manages to catch a fish! I think regular old fishing is challenging enough!! We caught like 30 baby frogs!!

4th Of JULY!!!

We had so much fun spending time with our Family! The kids all got their fill of fireworks. I don't think I have ever lit so many sparklers in my life!! I got the smallest little burn on my finger and I thought I was giong to die! The weekend started July 3rd with the Farmington Fireworks Show at Uncle Danny and Aunt Christys house. It was nice to be able to see them from their house and not have to fight the crowds. Christy's parents made homemade ice cream. Yum! The kids played badmitton while we waited for it to get dark! The forth was spent with kids playing outside, Dylan hanging with his Grandpa. Oscar had to work a little bit and I had fun playing cards with my Mama. We had a bbq that night and had a fireworks show of our own. The fireworks were put on by the Terry Boy's! This was the 1st time I let Jake participate in the lighting of the fireworks! We almost died a few times, but some how we managed to survive!! The 5th was spent in Durango we went to the Train Museum, strolled down town, and played at the Durango Park on the river! It is so beautiful there! That night the boys went to the races and the girls went to the movie! Oscar said he has never seen so many RED NECKS in his life! I'm sad I missed it! We really enjoyed just chilling with the Family! Thanks for putting us up Mom and Dad! We love you!
